Synopsis:

Students take a playful trip through theatre history, discovering different performance styles and traditions through quick scenes, games, and creative ensemble moments. Our full showcase runs about 40 minutes and features two short performances (10–15 minutes each) that highlight what students have learned throughout the session.

Through theatre games, movement activities, and simple character work, students build confidence, teamwork, listening skills, and expressive communication. This age group thrives on fun, structure, and discovery making Seedlings an encouraging, low-pressure environment where every child can shine, make friends, and grow.

Students travel back in time to help Shakespeare write a play, exploring language, storytelling, and theatre history through fun, fast-paced scenes and activities. Our full showcase runs about 40 minutes and features two short performances (10–15 minutes each) that highlight what students have learned throughout the session.

Little Sprouts gives growing performers the chance to stretch their creativity and take on bigger responsibilities in a supportive space. Students learn foundational acting techniques, build ensemble skills, and explore storytelling through theatre history and performance challenges. This group is great for kids who are ready for a creative outlet that boosts confidence, collaboration, and leadership while still keeping everything fun, accessible, and welcoming to all experience levels.

We are excited to host our 

5TH ANNUAL TEEN WRITING & ACTING SUMMER CAMPS

led by Wyatt Wilson and Addie Seate! 

Participants may choose to attend either individual camp or may attend both. 

Teen Playwriting Intensive

June 15-19, 10am-2pm

Age: 13-18

Participants will work together to write a short play that will be produced and performed during the week of the second camp. Playwrights will learn about the writing process and collaboratively creating an original play. 

Teen Acting Intensive

June 22-26, 8am-3pm

Performances on June 26 & 27 at 7pm and June 28 at 3pm

Age: 13-18

Participants will audition, rehearse and perform the original play written in the writing camp the week prior. Additionally, actors will learn about sets, costumes, improvisation and tech!

This is CLT’s Summer of Rock’n’Rock! After June’s production of We Will Rock You and our 2nd Annual Nerdville Mini-Con, come spend an epic two weeks of your summer back in 2008. The hair will be swooped, the shirts will be layered, and the playlist will be Jonased.
